You'll feel on the top of the world at #KingsCanyon! Only three hours from #Uluru, this amazing destination is not to be missed, featuring 100 metre high ancient sandstone walls. Lace up your hiking boots and explore the rim walk - this challenging but spectacular hike is 6 kilometres in length and skirts the edge of the canyon for much of the trail, providing magnificent views of the cliffs and surrounding landscape. Watarrka National Park is way more than just a day trip destination; why not explore the region's walking trails, four-wheel drive tracks, cultural tours along with accommodation options ranging from camping to resort-style rooms. Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @roaming_offtrack. #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

Keep an 👀 out for the Poinciana tree in @TourismTopEnd - they're only in full bloom for around 4-6 weeks usually during October-November! Commonly known as Flame trees, their bright red flowers are arguably one of the Top End's prettiest sights at this time of the year. You can spot them around #Darwin and surrounds 🧡😍 Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @akarshmohan! #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd

It's rude NOT to stare at Jim Jim Falls 😜 This iconic #Kakadu National Park location is famous for its astonishing cliffs and thundering waterfalls and can be reached by a 2 kilometre return walking trail. While the track is graded as moderately difficult and involves scrambling over large boulders in some parts, you'll be rewarded with a deep plunge pool and family-friendly beach pool, all surrounded by dramatic Jurassic Park-style scenery. With the tropical summer fast approaching, Jim Jim won't be open for much longer as the rains come and the roads flood - it typically becomes accessible again mid-year once the water levels have gone down. But while it’s closed by road, it’s still possible to see it from the air! Hop on a scenic flight tour for incredible views of the waterfall in full flow 🙌 Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @roamingwith_roma! #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd #SeeKakadu

Pull up your camp chair... the show is about to begin! One of the great natural wonders of the world, #Uluru towers above the surrounding landscape. It's not until you see it in person that you realise how BIIIG it really is! While this iconic monolith looks incredible at any time of the day, golden hour is particularly special. As the sun hits it on its way down, the colour of the rock changes from a sizzling red to burnt orange to a deep purple as the light fades. Head to one of the many viewing platforms dotted throughout the park for the best views - this is the car sunset viewing area! Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @we_who_roam! #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

The West MacDonnell Ranges are famous for their postcard-like scenery 😍 Shaded by towering cliffs and ghost gums, Simpsons Gap is the first of many adventure stops just west of #AliceSprings. Water flows through a small gap in the ranges providing a sheltered haven for a range of native wildlife like the resident black footed rock wallabies. There are a handful of walking trails, all varying in length, for those looking to explore more, or alternatively you can simply just sit and enjoy the view. Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @wetookaholiday! #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

The lookout at Ubirr is easily one of #Kakadu National Park’s highlights, particularly at sunset 💚 The large rock escarpment is free of handrails and concrete pathways, which is very much part of the appeal. After a 250 metre climb, you’re greeted with views across the floodplains and Arnhem Land. The sublime scenes from the tallest of Ubirr’s rocky outcrops is unforgettable 🙌 Dragonflies dart about and cockatoos call out as a golden ball of fire sinks into the green of the Nadab floodplain below. The lookout is reached via an impressive Aboriginal rock-art gallery, considered one of the best in the world, with fine examples of x-ray painting as well as contact art from the time when Indigenous people first encountered Europeans. It’s not hard to see why Nitmiluk (#Katherine) Gorge is a Top End must do! The gorge-ous views and breathtaking walking tracks will impress even the most adventurous of hearts, or maybe you’ll choose to take it easy on a boat cruise with @NitmilukTours 👌 Open year round, the region is home to some of the most stunning gorge scenery in the NT. Consisting of 13 separate gorges, this maze of waterways stretches for 12 kilometres and extends more than 70 metres high. Our tip: Check out Pat's Lookout for spectacular views of the first gorge! #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd #NitmilukNT #VisitKatherine

The star-studded line up is pretty impressive at the #DevilsMarbles (#KarluKarlu)! 🤩 These large granite boulders are located an hour south of #TennantCreek in the traditional country of the Warumungu, Kaytetye, Alyawarra and Warlpiri people. They call the Devils Marbles 'Karlu Karlu', which literally translates as ‘round boulders'. With no artificial light in the area to interfere, it's one of the best places in the world to stargaze. There are a number of camp sites within the conservation reserve if you'd like to sleep under the stars. Campers should be well equipped and carry their own water. Alternatively, you'll find the Devils Marbles Hotel just nine kilometres down the road! Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @mitch.toft. #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT
