Welcome to #Kakadu National Park's best kept secret 😍 Located in the southern part of park, Moline Rockhole is a beautiful little waterfall and swimming hole not far off the main road (Kakadu Highway). It's not signposted and most people just drive past it when they are visiting the nearby waterfall Gunlom. You'll find the turnoff 5 kilometres after the Mary River ranger station, down a little dirt road - be aware you'll need a four-wheel drive vehicle to get in! This hidden gem is a 'special permit area' in which only a few select tour operators are allowed to access so you'll often have the place to yourselves. The water here is crystal clear so make sure you pack your snorkelling gear. You'll find many little fish and if you're lucky, a turtle or two swimming in the rockpool with you.  Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @goldiekatie_! #SeeAustralia #SeeKakadu #TourismTopEnd

We're coming to you from picture-perfect #EastArnhemLand at sunrise 🌸 This is Lonely Beach, a very beautiful (and real!) place that you can explore on a tour with aboriginal-owned company @Lirrwi Tourism. They offer day and multi-day guided tours into the remote Yolngu Homelands, departing from #Nhulunbuy (#Gove) between April and October. You'll get to see how the world's oldest living culture still lives today - from traditional spear fishing to gathering of bush foods. East Arnhem Land is only a short flight from #Darwin or can be accessed via the Central Arnhem Road.  Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @melissafindley! #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd #ArnhemLand

We definitely don’t take for granted, or should we say ‘granite’ the fact that we have the unbelievable #DevilsMarbles in the Northern Territory. Karlu Karlu, as they’re called by the traditional owners, were formed naturally, slowly eroding over millions of years into their strange and sometimes gravity-defying shapes. Follow the walkways and find out via the information boards how the granite formations have withstood the forces of wind and rain, unlike the surrounding sandstone. These geological wonders are located just an hour drive from #TennantCreek. Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @amyrcooper. #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

Romantic scene from the #Bachelor or just a regular morning at a Top End swimming spot? 🤔 @opeleye recently said “early morning hikes with @ktlou13 to private swimming holes are probably my favourite thing about driving around the national parks of northern Australia." 🙌 We can see why! Say g’day to the wildly photogenic Southern Rockhole in Nitmiluk National Park! We'd like to think that the NT has somehow found itself as @Australia's unofficial capital of natural plunge pools - a reminder that it's anything but dry and sparse 💦 While getting to the rockhole does require a bit of bush-bashing, the cool emerald water is your welcomed reward. It takes about 1.5 hours to hike here from the Nitmiluk Visitor Information Centre, but there’s a strong chance that you’ll have it all to yourself when you arrive 👌 Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, Jordan!  #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd #NitmilukNT

The diverse landscape, the eye-popping scenery and the easy access to well-maintained trails is why #AliceSprings is enjoying a mountain-biking boom, according to local off-road enthusiast Jenn Rajher. One of the big surprises for mountain bikers hitting the trails around the Red Centre for the first time is how varied they are and how well they’ve been organised into a series of circuits suitable for riders of varying skill, experience and fitness levels. It’s currently the perfect time of year for a MTB adventure in central @australia - winter in Alice means clear blue skies, pleasant riding temperatures and virtually no rain 🙌☀️ If you don’t have your own bike, you can hire one from @outbackcycling in the Todd Mall, and the crew here will offer sound local advice to get you started 👍 #NTaustralia #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

What if we told you that this stunning spot is only 15 minutes' drive from #AliceSprings? Shaded by towering cliffs and ghost gums, Simpsons Gap is the first of many stops along the West MacDonnell Ranges. Water flows through a small gap in the ranges here, providing a sheltered haven for a range of native wildlife like the resident black footed rock wallabies. If you're keen to stretch your legs, there are a handful of walking trails that show off the flora, fauna and geology of the area. Whether you pack an overnight bag, or plan to finish the route in one day, you'll get major bang for your driving buck in the West MacDonnell National Park. Continue onto Ellery Creek Big Hole, Ormiston Gorge and Glen Helen Gorge for more adventures!  Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @saltythebus. #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

Nature lovers will love what's on offer in close proximity to #Darwin, particularly the waterfall-laden #Litchfield National Park! @robmulally recently captured this spectacular photo over Wangi Falls, one of the park's signature swimming hubs. With a stunning cliff face, an emerald-toned plunge pool and a cafe on-site, there's every reason to stay awhile and enjoy your surroundings. If you're looking to stretch your legs, the 1.6 kilometre return Wangi Falls walk will take you up to the escarpment where you'll have an amazing view of the stone country above the falls. Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, Rob! #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd

#Mataranka’s crystal-clear thermal pool, surrounded by paperbark and palm forest, can be found in Elsey National Park, an hour south of #Katherine. The warm turquoise water, dappled by light filtered through overhanging pandanus, is said to have the power to soothe aches and pains after a day on the road 🙌 After a leisurely dip, continue your hot springs tour at nearby Bitter Springs, another natural sandy-bottomed lagoon in the Mataranka region. This magnificent red-orange rock is guaranteed to make you just as happy as @haylsa and @kyle_hunter here 😄 After a recent trip to #Uluru, Hayley said she'd “re-live this week in a heartbeat!” And with stunning scenes such as these around the base walk, it’s not hard to see why! At 348 metres high, you’ll be left speechless taking in this iconic monolith, which is believed to be made of sandstone about half a billion years old 🙌  The 10.6 kilometre loop walk leads you around the base of Uluru and takes roughly 3.5 hours to complete, depending on how much time we spend you gawking at the rock! Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, Hayley. #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT
