"They weren't joking about the middle of Australia being red - it's nothing short of amazing!" Welcome to the real outback, @harryvick 😉The Red Centre is home to a number of iconic natural wonders, however many people don't realise there's more than one big rock in this region! This distinctive flat-topped sandstone monolith is called #MountConner and often fools travellers on their way to #Uluru, earning it the nickname 'Fool-uru' 😂 After a surge of excitement and a flurry of photos, it eventually dawns on most of them that this rock actually looks quite different from Uluru's famous silhouette! While it might not be the rock they were looking for, that doesn't mean it's any less striking 😍 Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, Harry!

When you have to touch it just to make sure its real 😜 Robin Falls is a pretty three-tiered waterfall that sits just outside the boundaries of #Litchfield National Park, near the township of Adelaide River. If you're keen to escape the crowds, this hidden gem is sure to be your new favourite spot! Roughly a 90 minute drive south of #Darwin, these falls are one of the many spectacular spots to cool off in @TourismTopEnd - no wonder they call this region a water lovers' paradise 💦 Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @esther_grace1!  #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd

WOAH 😍 Yeah, we might just add #EastArnhemLand to the very top of our must-do list! With turquoise water and a long stretch of white sand, it'd be easy to mistake Macassan Beach for some faraway overseas destination, but actually, this piece of untouched paradise can be found in the very north-eastern corner of the Territory! This beach is one of many designated recreation areas where visitors can spend their days fishing, boating, camping and exploring the diverse landscape. Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @_markfitz 👍 #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd #ArnhemLand

It's pretty safe to say that the night skies at the #DevilsMarbles (#KarluKarlu) are out of this world 🌏 There are few places in the world where you can see the stars like this ✨ While sunrise and sunset are typically most popular for viewing these large granite boulders, there's something other-worldly about them after dark. If you're keen to explore this geological wonder at night time, there's a bush campground on site or accommodation about 10 kilometres away. Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @laurenepbath! #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

Not a morning person? We guarantee that'll change here 😍 Nestled among ancient dunes, @longitude131 is a gathering of sixteen tented pavilions designed to offer a luxurious outback sanctuary 🙌 With unparalleled views of #Uluru, 'camping' certainly doesn't get much more glamorous than this! Imagine waking up to @Australia's most iconic sight... literally at the end of your bed ❤️ Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia,  @talesandtrails_ 👍 #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

While the dry season might be fast approaching, there are still a few wet season storms hanging around in @TourismTopEnd! @james.cobain captured this cracker over the weekend in #Darwin ⚡️The Top End, which includes Darwin, Katherine, Kakadu and Arnhem Land, has a tropical climate and two distinct seasons: the 'wet' and the 'dry'. The dry season, from May to October, is characterised by warm, dry sunny days and cool nights and is typically the most popular time to visit the region. While weather conditions during the wet season can restrict travel to some areas, you've gotta admit the light shows are pretty spectacular! Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, James!  #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd

On Wednesday's, we hike! If you're visiting the Red Centre, we highly recommend a stay at #KingsCanyon. The 6km hike around the canyon rim is a must-do and according to @ilonamisiewicz, well worth the effort! The Rim Walk takes roughly three hours and is easily one of the best trails in central @Australia with incredible red stone paths and epic views of the surrounding outback 😎 Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, Ilona! #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

Not another hot springs photo, said no one ever 😜 After re-opening last month, we can't get enough of #Mataranka Thermal Pool! The warm, crystalline waters of the natural pool are not only impossibly blue, they're also said to have the power to soothe aches and pains after a long day on the road. The small town of Mataranka, an hour south of #Katherine, is renowned for its sandy-bottomed thermal pools, pastoral history and as a welcomed stop along the Stuart Highway. Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @ebsc 👍  #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd

Honestly, this photo is so epic we're not sure it even needs a caption 🙌 On a scale of one to other-worldly, this view of #KataTjuta (and #Uluru, in the distance!) certainly takes the cake. @ayersrockscenicflights offer daily aerial tours of these two landmarks, along with other Red Centre attractions including Kings Canyon and Mount Conner. The best bit? Every passenger is guaranteed a window seat - so, you won't miss a thing! Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, Team ARSF!  #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT
