When the scenes underwater are just as stunning as the one's above the surface! @cleocohen recently stopped by Bitter Springs, one of the most magical swimming spots in #TourismTopEnd! Hidden amongst palms and pandanas trees, this natural thermal pool is known for its ridiculously clear water and constant temperature of 32 degrees celsius. This little oasis is tucked away in the small township of Mataranka, an hour south of #Katherine and four hours’ south of #Darwin. Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, Cleo! #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd

Row, row, row your boat... to relaxation! Welcome to @lorellaspringswildernesspark, a million acre coastal wilderness sanctuary in the Gulf of Carpentaria. Historical sites, aboriginal culture, swimming holes, gorges and the spectacular Lost City rock formations are just some of the features that make this family-owned cattle station a must-do. Base yourself at the homestead where you can take your pick of various accommodation options, grab a meal at the licensed bar and make the most of the magical hot springs just 200 metres away. Prepare to ditch your mobile - due to the park's remote location, there's no phone reception 👉 it's the ultimate place to disconnect! Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @mitch.toft.  #SeeAustralia

We're all about #vanlife in the Northern Territory and where better to hit the road than the Red Centre 🙌🚗 @elisehalina recently travelled around central @Australia, ticking #Uluru off her bucket list in style! While this magnificent monolith is pretty epic from any angle, nothing prepares you for those first views of Uluru up close - its sheer size is mesmerising! There's a heap of ways to explore the base... from hiring a bike with @outbackcycling to hopping on a segway tour with @ulurusegwaytours or on foot 👍 Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, Elise! #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

If you haven't been to the Red Centre before it might surprise you how many spectacular swimming spots there are around #AliceSprings. @mitch.toft recently stopped by Ellery Creek Big Hole, a stunning waterhole in the mighty Ellery Creek which cuts through a gorge in the West MacDonnell Ranges. Massive floods over thousands of years have carved out this permanent waterhole and unlocked some amazing geology. While the water is a bit chilly at this time of year, you can pull up a piece of sand with a packed lunch...the view isn't bad 😍 Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, Mitch!  #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

Secret rock pools surrounded by tropical woodlands high above a waterfall... sounds terrible, right?! 😜 There are a number of popular swimming spots in #Litchfield National Park but not many people know about Tjaetaba Falls. These little known pools can be reached via the Greenant Creek Walk, a 2.7km return trail that follows the creek upstream before climbing steeply up to the lookout. If you’re visiting, please take note of signage - swimming isn’t allowed in the plunge pool at the base of the falls for cultural reasons. Attention nature lovers! If you're visiting #Kakadu National Park, make sure you hop on a Yellow Water Cruise with @KakaduTourism. Get your camera ready - you can expect to see saltwater crocodiles, buffalo, wild horses and an abundance of birdlife 📸🐊 Cruises operate from sunrise to sunset, winding their way through the distinct ecosystems of Yellow Water Billabong and tributaries of the South Alligator River. These spectacular wetlands are just minutes from Cooinda Lodge; a great base to explore the southern region of the park. #KataTjuta (#TheOlgas), a large group of ancient red rock formations, makes for a pretty impressive sight, rising seemingly out of nowhere in the Red Centre 🙌 Located roughly 25 minutes’ drive from #Uluru, make sure you head to one of the national park's designated viewing areas for sunrise or sunset and watch as these ochre-coloured domes glow and change colour! Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @dilettaorlandi. #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

The #EastArnhemLand coast is home to numerous stretches of white sand bordered by the vivid blue waters of the Arafura Sea and Gulf of Carpentaria 😍 There are several stunning beaches within easy driving distance of Nhulunbuy, the region's main township, where travellers can spend their days fishing, camping and exploring the diverse landscape. If you're a keen four-wheel drive enthusiast, Turtle Beach (Ngumuy) is well worth the effort and links to Macassan Beach (Garanhan) and Little Bondi (Baringura) via two scenic walking trails.  Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @iamsavi! #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd

We're calling it - you simply haven't seen a #sunrise like those you'll find in the desert 😍 If you're visiting #Uluru, make sure you set your alarm and watch as the light turns its massive surface from ochre brown to burnished orange and deep purple. From @exploreuluru's cultural Desert Awakenings experience to @ulurucameltours' early morning camel rides or @seitoutbackaustralia's #KataTjuta tour, there's no shortage of ways to witness the sun coming up in this special part of @Australia 🙌 Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @stevint! #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT
