    30 Minute Fixed Wing Flight over Kakadu National Park

    View the awesome erosion on the ages old Arnhem Land plateau including 'the archway', follow the spectacular East Alligator River into Mikinj Valley before retuning via the placid Magela Wetlands.

    Tropical Season - December to April. Wetlands are the heart of Kakadu, they are so spectacular yet so hard to see, except from an aircraft. View a mosaic of colour and variety. Floodplains, Boggy Plains, Billabongs and the murky tidal South Alligator River.

    Kakadu in a Day Tour

    Departing Darwin on your scenic flight, view the Adelaide, West, South and East Alligator river systems that form amazing snake-like bends. Take in the sights of Kakadu with views over massive erosion, vast rock formations, floodplains, coastal mangroves and grand escarpments before arriving at the picturesque Jim Jim and Twin waterfalls.


    Then, cruise on the Yellow Water Billabong, home to a myriad of birdlife and flora. Keep an eye out for crocodiles lounging on the riverbanks or gliding through the water. A boat guide will keep you captivated with informative commentary.


    Enjoy an included lunch at the Barra Bar and Bistro before wondering though Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre. Developed by the Aboriginal traditional owners of Kakadu, the displays include personal histories, videos and artifacts that illustrate stories the traditional owners want to share with you.

    Katherine in a Day Tour

    This tour is designed to take in the beauty and culture of two National Parks in just one day.


    Your day tour will begin with spectacular aerial views over Kakadu’s southern region and Katherine (Nitmiluk) National Park. Sit back and relax as your experienced pilot delivers informative commentary over Adelaide and South Alligator river systems, Mary River National Park and massive escarpment walls before arriving at Kakadu's famous waterfalls. Be impressed with the size of Jim Jim and beauty of Twin waterfalls before continuing the flight onward to Katherine.


    Arriving into Katherine, prepare for a truly memorable experience on the 2-hour Nit Nit Dreaming Cruise. Marvel at the sheer rock face that encases Nitmiluk Gorge river and discover the cultural significance to the traditional landowners, the Jawoyn people, with commentary delivered from the boat guide.



    Following your cruise, relax and enjoy included lunch at the Sugar Bag Café.



    To complete your day tour, wander through either the Godinymayin Yijard Arts and Cultural Centre or Mimi Aboriginal Arts Centre before your air transfer back into Darwin

    30pm you will hit the skies for a direct flight to Wildman Wilderness Lodge. Journey on a truly remarkable 1-hour cruise along Home Billabong, immersing yourself in the sights and sounds of nature while your experienced guide provides fascinating facts about our amazing wildlife.


    Make sure you have your camera ready and keep an eye out for crocs. Then, unwind as you enjoy the serenity of Wildman Wilderness Lodge with provided afternoon tea and refreshments. At 5. 30pm depart for Darwin on a 1-hour scenic flight that is sure to take your breath away. Be mesmerised by the spectacular sunset aerial views of some of the Top End’s most iconic sights including the Mary River National Park, Adelaide River, Lee Point, Shady Camp and Corroboree Billabong.
