Il sito presso il Bark Hut Inn sull'Arnhem Highway è costituito da una targa dedicata nel 2012, che segna il luogo in cui Stuart e il suo gruppo si accamparono l'11 luglio 1862.
La targa commemora i 150 anni da quando l'esploratore John McDouall Stuart arrivò sulla costa settentrionale dell'Australia quando divenne il primo esploratore, con i suoi compagni, ad attraversare il continente da sud a nord.
