    2 day Alice Springs Explorer Short Break

    Stop to view Atila (Mt. Conner), often mistaken for Uluru, before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort. Join your Driver Guide for a tour around the base of Uluru and to the Mutitjulu Waterhole. View ancient rock art and learn about the Aboriginal and European history of the area. Visit the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre.

    Late afternoon, travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area. Witness and photograph the striking colour changes of Uluru at sunset while enjoying nibbles and sparkling wine.

    Drive through sandhill country towards Kings Canyon, stopping for a breakfast at Kings Creek Station. Climb to the rim of the canyon for marvellous views of Watarrka National Park on a 3 hour walk around the canyon with your guide and learn about its geology.     2 day Camels, Uluṟu & Kata Tjuṯa Short Break

    Visit a camel farm and stop to view Atila en-route to Ayers Rock Resort. Explore the mystical 36 domes of Kata Tjuta. Spend some time exploring Walpa Gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations. The walking trail through the gorge follows the natural creek bed between two of the tallest domes of Kata Tjuta. From the Uluṟu sunset viewing area witness and photograph the striking colour changes at sunset while enjoying nibbles and complimentary wine.

Join a guided climb to the rim of Kings Canyon. The hike is recommended for those with a good level of fitness. Or, you may wish to take an easier, shorter walk to explore the boulder strewn canyon creek bed. Afterwards, travel to Alice Springs.
