記念碑は、ピラミッド型のコンクリート製の土台の上に、オッペンハイマーの電信柱を中央の支柱として据え、周囲を鉄柵で囲んだ構造となっている。
高速道路脇には広い駐車スペースがあり、そこから記念碑まで続く通路が設けられている。この通路は柵で区切られている。
