Brown's MartとThe Last Great Huntの共同制作
コメディでありながらカタルシスも感じられる『The Present』は、ある家族の歴史とプレゼントへの執着を紐解きます。父親の異なる異父双子、解決できない信頼関係の問題を抱える母と息子、サメにとって非常に美味しい遺伝子を持つ男性、そしてビーチが大好きな彼の行方不明の娘など、様々な人物が登場します。この作品は、ブラックユーモアと大きな心情を織り交ぜながら、それぞれの家族が独自の神話を作り上げ、そしてそれに苦しむ様子を描いています。
クリスマスを目前に控えた1週間、真に意味のある贈り物を探す双子たち。その中で、それぞれの家族が抱える憧れや恨み、そしてどんな伝統を残すべきかという問いが浮かび上がってきます。
2020年の『I'll Tell You In Person』、2021年の『The Hypotheticals』のクリエイターによる作品です。
