The skies at Cullen Bay will be filled with hundreds of colourful and mesmerising kites, kite sizes range from up to 30m long, and include some familiar Territory icons.
It’s not just the skies which are packed full of action, with kids activities on throughout the day including kite decorating classes, jumping castles, face painting, roving entertainment, food and drinks and so much more!
The public are encouraged to bring their own kites to fly in the ‘locals fly zone’. Don’t have your own kite? We’ve got you covered! Come down early and grab one of the limited-edition Darwin Kite Festival X Activate Darwin official kites to decorate and fly yourselves.
