Curtin Springs make handmade paper from the native grasses on Curtin Springs Station.
Each piece is an individual, distinctive and beautiful souvenir of Central Australia, showcasing the diversity of the desert landscape.
1 hour tours of the paper making process at the Old Abattoir building offering exclusive access to the full range of Curtin Springs paper products.
The different stages of the paper making process will be on display and available for visitors to see and touch.
The paper making process will be explained and demonstrated.
Participants will be able to 'pull' a piece of paper to experience how it's done.
You will then be able to browse through the gift shop.
Curtin Springs Paper is used to create artisan jewellery, truly handcrafted pieces. A wonderful gift for those that couldn't join you on your holiday, or a piece to remind you of the red sand and blue skies of Central Australia.
Then head into The Gallery, where they use paper to create works of art!
Curtin Springs Paper is on the main road to Ayers Rock (Uluru), so no additional travel required.
