Sunset Viewing Area for Uluru

Parks Australia has announced re-opening plans for Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, with visitors to be welcomed into sites around the park from Friday, 19 June 2020.

Walking tracks and sunrise and sunset viewing areas will be open but the Cultural Centre and associated businesses will remain closed at present. Please visit our website to confirm which sites you will be able to enjoy during your next trip to Uluru.

. . .

This is one of the best the places to watch the colours change at Uluru during the dramatic sunset.

You can also visit this area at sunrise and capture Uluru silhouetted against the dawn.

This area can be accessed by cars only - buses use the Bus Sunset and Dune Walk Viewing area.

To enter the park you’ll need a park pass, which you can pre-purchase online for quick and easy entry.
