Is there anything sweeter than a two for one deal? @seeseaimages captured this stunning shot of both #Uluru and #KataTjuta (#TheOlgas) on a scenic flight with @ayersrockhelicopters 🚁 Even if you've walked around @Australia's most famous natural landmarks, it's hard to fully appreciate their enormity until you've seen them from the air! Make sure to keep your camera close - as the sun sets over the outback landscape, these gigantic ochre-coloured rock formations will change colour before your very eyes 😍 Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, Craig. #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

There is nothing quite like getting up close and personal with #Uluru... many people are surprised at just HOW big it really is! ✨ The base walk is one of the best ways to see it from every angle 🙌 We recommend you start your journey in the Mala carpark in the morning then follow the path around, stopping to marvel at the other-worldly beauty of each side of the rock. The loop walk is 10.6 kilometres in total, however it's broken into sections for those not keen to do the whole thing. The Mala walk section is only 2 kilometres return making it perfect for any age. There are free daily guided tours from the Mala carpark where rangers will stop to explain rock art, demonstrate the tools traditionally used by the Anangu people and tell you the Tjukurpa (creation stories) of many rock formations. However, if you would prefer to explore the trail by yourself, the area is well signed for self-guiding. Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @jordhammond! #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

Wandering through the sheer ochre-coloured domes of #KataTjuta (#TheOlgas), you'll be gobsmacked by their size and uniqueness. Some travellers find them even more mesmerising than #Uluru! You can choose from a number of walking trails that range from an easy stroll to a longer, more difficult track. The 2.6 kilometre (1.6 mile) return Walpa Gorge walk is one of the shorter options and takes you along a rocky path resembling something from Mars to a lush grove of spearwood. Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @globaladmirer!  #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

You’ll feel instantly at peace when you enter the beautiful Walpa Gorge 🙌 These towering ochre-coloured domes make up #KataTjuta (#TheOlgas), a large rock formation spread over an area of more than 20 kilometres, roughly 30 kilometres from #Uluru. The 2.6 kilometre walk through Walpa Gorge is one of the shorter and easier trails, but if you're looking for a challenge, we suggest the Valley of the Winds walk which will take you on a circuit of a few of the domes. Towards the end of the day, head to the Kata Tjuta sunset viewing area and soak in the changing colours of the domes and the desert sky. Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @haylsa and @kyle_hunter!  #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

Warning: #Uluru at #sunset may take your breath away, proceed with caution 😍 The magical sandstone monolith in the heart of #RedCentreNT was formed over 550 million years ago and has a presence unlike any other. If you're self-driving, watch the colours change from the sunset viewing area within the national park. Alternatively, join a tour with @seitoutbackaustralia or @aatkings and listen to fascinating information about the region with a glass of sparkling wine in hand as the sun goes down 🙌 Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @jordhammond!  #SeeAustralia #SeeUluru
