An adventurous hike through a forest and a swim in a tropical waterfall sound like a good day to you? Then you'll love Robin Falls! 💦 Most people head out to #Litchfield National Park to chase waterfalls, but what many people don’t know is that just outside of the boundaries of the park lies this hidden gem. This three-tiered waterfall is the ultimate spot to get away from the crowds and enjoy a refreshing dip only an hour south of #Darwin 👌 Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @all.about.adventure! #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd

What if we told you it was only a 15 minute walk to this spot? Nup, we're not kidding! The Ormiston Gorge Ghost Gum lookout walk shows off the spectacular rock formations and native flora of the area including a lone Ghost Gum perfect for photo ops, perched atop a rust-red quartzite cliff. Down below you'll find a permanent waterhole that's great for a dip over the warmer months and a campground and kiosk not far away. Home to a number of geological wonders, the West MacDonnell National Park is a must for your #AliceSprings travel itinerary 👍 Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @tscharke! #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

Just a regular day in the life of our mate @mattwright1 😎 After a wet tropical summer, it's almost time for @outbackfloatplanes' Ultimate Tour to start again just outside of #Darwin. Suitable for everyone, the Ultimate Tour begins with a scenic flight, complete with a spectacular float-plane landing on the waters of Sweets Lagoon where your once-in-a-lifetime adventure unfolds. There's not many places where you can experience float-planes, airboats, crocs and a cruise all in one tour! 🐊 🚁 Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, Matt. #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd

As darkness falls and #Uluru is thrown into silhouette, the #FieldofLight illuminates ✨ As far as the eye can see gentle rhythms of colour light up the desert. The exhibition, aptly named Tili Wiru Tjuta Nyakutjaku or ‘looking at lots of beautiful lights’ in local Pitjantjatjara, sees more than 50,000 solar-powered stems begin to glow as the sun goes down. The installation covers an area of more than seven football fields and invites visitors to wander through the network of pathways and watch this fantasy garden softly change colour at #sunrise and #sunset. Pretty magical, hey @hikeandseek! Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, Dan. #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT #ExploreUluru

Just 3.5 hours south of #Darwin, Nitmiluk (#Katherine) Gorge winds along 12 kilometres of sheer rock extending more than 70 metres high. Consisting of 13 separate gorges, it's a maze of waterways sculpted from the sandstone over countless millennia by the Katherine River 🙌 There's a heap of ways to immerse yourself in the history, rugged beauty and culture of this magnificent region including boat cruises, canoeing, walking trails and scenic flights. Hit up @nitmiluktours for some more ideas 👌 Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @lifeindarwin!  #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd #NitmilukNT #jawoyncountry

Many people say that #Kakadu National Park is best visited during the calm and cloudless dry season, but with scenes like this, we're wondering if they're wrong 😍 The wet season months bring surprise, adventure and new life to the region and Motor Car Falls is no exception. This hidden gem comes to life during the tropical summer and is well worth the 7.5km (return) walk through fluorescent green landscape 🌱 Surrounded by lush monsoon forest, the falls are part of the Yurmikmik Walks in the southern part of the park. Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @jarradseng!  #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd #SeeKakadu #DoKakadu

We’ve seen some pretty amazing sunsets coming through our feed lately, but how about this gem from Mindil Beach in #Darwin? This particular stretch of beach is home to the iconic @mindilmarket, held every Thursday and Sunday evening between April and October. With opening night scheduled for 26 April, it won't be long before we're sampling delicious laksa and sipping fresh juice while watching the sun go down on another magnificent dry season day 👌 Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @lifeindarwin!  #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd
