@lolahubner recently found the “best seat in the house"! #Uluru, the magnificent sandstone monolith in the heart of the Red Centre, was formed over 550 million years ago and has a presence unlike any other. If you're self-driving, watch the colours change from the sunset viewing area within the national park. Alternatively, join a tour with @seitoutbackaustralia or @aatkings and listen to fascinating information about the region with a glass of sparkling wine in hand as the sun goes down 🙌 Keen for your own outback adventure? @JetstarAustralia are currently offering sale fares to Uluru - hit up the link in bio to learn more! Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, Lola. #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

Sunrise, camels and #Uluru in the distance... it doesn't get much more outback than this! @ulurucameltours' safaris are practically a rite of passage in central @Australia, offering unforgettable views of Uluru and #KataTjuta (#TheOlgas) as they glow and change colour. Take the reigns and choose from short, sunrise or sunset rides 🐪 Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @photobohemian! #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

@seeseaimages described the changing colour and the textures of the desert landscape as “one of the most spectacular scenes I have had the privilege of witnessing". The striking beehive domes of #KataTjuta (#TheOlgas) seem to rise out of nowhere, just 30 kilometres from #Uluru. Made up of 36 rock formations spread over an area of more than 20 kilometres, Kata Tjuta must be seen to be believed! You can hike around the base of the domes on the Valley of the Winds walk, check it out from the air on a helicopter flight or witness them change colour at sunrise or sunset from one of the viewing areas. Time to put your feet up and enjoy the show! This picture-perfect Red Centre icon isn’t just lovely to look at, it also holds great spiritual and cultural significance to the local Anangu people. Join a cultural tour with @exploreuluru or @seitoutbackaustralia and learn more about the history behind this special part of @visitcentralaus from knowledgeable guides. Tip: #Uluru changes colours all the time, depending on the time of day and brightness of the sky, so we highly recommend visiting the different viewing platforms at sunrise and sunset to experience this magic for yourself. #KingsCanyon, have we told you how magnificent you look lately?! Only three hours from #Uluru, this speccy location features 100 metre high ancient sandstone walls 🙌 Lace up your walking boots and explore the Rim Walk 👉 this challenging but rewarding hike is 6 kilometres in length and skirts the edge of the canyon for much of the trail, providing Insta-worthy views of the cliffs and surrounding landscape. Our tip: As the weather warms up, it's best to start the walk bright and early - we promise the views at sunrise will be well worth the early wake-up! Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @roaming_offtrack. #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

Nothing to see here...just your standard #sunset helicopter flight over #Uluru! Even if you've walked around @Australia's most famous natural landmark, it's tricky to fully appreciate it's enormity until you've seen it from the air 🚁 @AyersRockHelicopters offer a variety of scenic flight options in the region, not only over Uluru, but also Kata Tjuta, Mount Conner, Lake Amadeus and Kings Canyon, ranging from 15 minutes to all day. Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, Ayers Rock Helicopters team! #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

Now, THIS is what we call an entrance! The ancient red rock formations of #KataTjuta (#TheOlgas) rise seemingly out of nowhere from the arid land. Kata Tjuta is a Pitjantjatjara Aboriginal word meaning "many heads". From a distance it may look like one single rock, but it's actually a group of 36 domes that sit shoulder to shoulder and form a spectacular and unique configuration of deep valleys and steep gorges spread over more than 20 kilometres (12.4 miles). Roughly 35 kilometres west of #Uluru, you can see them up close along one of the walking trails or from a helicopter on a scenic flight. Kata Tjuta looks particularly beautiful at sunrise and sunset when the formations change colour 🧡 Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @floboniface! #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT
