WWII Reflections Walk

Thursday.

19 February, 1942.

World War II reaches mainland Australia and the northern city of Darwin is bombed.

Move forward to today and it’s Thursday, when your guide will take you back to that WWII era on a 2-hour walk through the historic quarter of the city. Hear stories of that fateful day as you meander past historic buildings of the time, that have been re-built to provide lasting memories of life in the north during the War.

This tour departs on a Thursday only, in memory of that fateful day in 1942.
