Top End Markets
Mindil Beach Sunset Market
The Mindil Beach Sunset Markets is the biggest markets in Darwin with over 300 stalls that set up every week from April through to October. This market is famous for the buzzing atmosphere and allows you to stroll onto the beach so you can enjoy all of the colours of the tantalising sunsets that the Top End has become so well known for. There’s everything from delicious international cuisine, right through to local craftsman, unique Aboriginal art, tarot card readings, massages and more.
Mindil Beach is just a six minute drive or a 30 minute walk from Darwin’s city centre and is located along Maria Liveris Dr just off Gilruth Ave.
The Mindil Beach Sunset Markets run from the last Thursday in April through to the last Thursday in October from 4:00pm to 9:00pm.
Parap Village Markets
The Parap Village Markets is a Saturday morning must and a favourite with the locals. Stroll through the vibrant lanes of Territory-inspired stalls and pick up the perfect gift or souvenir. Sip a smoothie or fresh coffee and be spoiled for choice with crepes, salads and an abundance of Asian cuisine.
Parap Village Markets is located at the Parap Shopping Village on Parap Road, five minutes from Darwin’s city centre. There are regular complimentary shuttles from hotels and landmarks that can pick you up and take you to the markets.
Every Saturday from 8:00am to 2:00pm.
Malak Market Place
Malak Market Place is like no other in Darwin and focuses on locally grown, fresh and mostly organic produce. This market has a great community atmosphere with deliciously healthy culinary options, local entertainment and handmade crafts. You can meet the passionate growers, jewellery makers and craftsman and pick up some unique and even bespoke pieces.
The Malak Market Place takes place in Chambers Crescent Car Park in Malak with plenty of parking options nearby.
Every Saturday, 4:00pm to 9:00pm starting from the last Saturday in April through to the last Saturday in October.
The perfect Sunday morning surely includes a visit to the Nightcliff Markets, where the leisurely, friendly atmosphere will leave you feeling relaxed. The freshly ground coffee, fruit smoothies, roasted nuts, silky crepes and many Asian inspired stalls are reason alone to visit. There's also a large focus on handmade crafts, woodwork, plants, jewellery and clothing. Get a massage, card reading or just sit back and enjoy the live entertainment with seating and a playground close by for the little ones.
Nightcliff Markets are held at the Nightcliff Shopping Centre on Dick Ward Drive in Nightcliff.

Rapid Creek Markets
Rapid Creek Markets is the city's oldest markets and rich in Asian culture. There's over 100 stalls to explore with exotic, tropical fruits, vegetables, spices, plus many dried and preserved foods. There's plenty of savoury and sweet foods to eat and fresh juices, smoothies and coffee to keep you satisfied with live music for your entertainment.
The Rapid Creek Markets are located in the Rapid Creek Business Village on Trower Road.
Every Saturday and Sunday from 7:00am to 2:00pm.
Darwin City Boutique Markets
Enjoy a great family friendly, Friday night market - the Darwin City Boutique Markets. There's plenty to see, do and taste with shopping galore, craft and food stalls plus kids activities and entertainment for all.

Fred's Pass Rural Markets
Grab a coffee or smoothie and something to eat at the accessible and relaxed Fred's Pass Rural Markets. Here you'll find over 70 stalls selling everything from fresh, local and mostly organic, affordable produce including fruits, vegetables, plants and chickens and eggs. There's also many handmade crafts, jewellery, fashion and beauty products. This market is another great way to experience the friendly Territory rural vibe and is great for families who can retreat under the comfort of the large covered shed.
Fred's Pass Rural Markets is located just 25 minutes from Darwin city. It's just past the Coolalinga shops on the right. There's ample parking which adds to the chilled atmosphere of these markets.

Adelaide River Markets
If you're travelling along the Stuart Highway, the Adelaide River Markets is a great place to stop by, cool off and pick up some handmade goodies, including jams, woodwork, cakes and more. There's also the local service station close by making it extra convenient to refuel on the way to your next adventure.
The Adelaide River Markets is located just off the Stuart Highway in Adelaide River.
Every Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Wednesday between the end of March to the start of September from 8:00am to 12:00pm.
The Batchelor Markets are held under the magnificent Rain Trees in the town of Batchelor featuring local products and produce. This event makes for a great add-on while visiting Litchfield National Park.
Batchelor is located an hour drive from Darwin and the markets located at the Batchelor Oval on Nurndina Street.

The Palmerston markets have been running for over 30 years and has 140 stalls showcasing a variety of food from across the world such as Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, Italy, Greece, Phillippines, England and many more. There's local, fruit and veg and hand-made jewellery. Plus with kid rides and entertainment, this market is hugely family friendly.
Palmerston is located just 15 minutes from Darwin and the markets are held in the Palmerston CBD in Goyder Square which is close to the public bus interchange.

Alice Springs Town Council Night Markets
The Alice Springs Town Council Night Markets brings together a beautiful array of handmade crafts, indigenous art, music and food stalls that reflects the towns inclusive nature. Todd Mall Market
The Todd Mall Markets is a favourite with locals and tourists alike. It's one of the longest running markets in the area and is held in the CBD with free WiFi. Here you'll find Aboriginal art, clothing, jewellery, well-being products, local honey, books, food and so much more. Head down and pick up a treasure, grab a bite to eat or just meet the friendly locals and see for yourself why this market is so loved by the locals.
