The grand opening and naming ceremony of our new outdoor amphitheatre.

With special guests from Djilpin Arts, Wugularr Dancers and Elders, followed by the Darwin Symphony Orchestra.

Touring the Northern Territory for the first time in a decade, the orchestra will present the inaugural performance in the Balang T.E Lewis amphitheatre, featuring ‘Gurrulwa Guligi (Big Wind)’ by Bilawara Lee and Netanela Mizrahi, a reflection on Cyclone Tracy 50 years on, as well as orchestral favorites and a collaboration with a local singer/songwriter Gypsy Schmidt. Enjoy light food options and a selection of beverages available at the bar.
