Come and enjoy our colourful and welcoming multi-faceted arts space less than 2 km from Darwin's CBD.
Songlines is a feast for the senses with an abundance of colour, texture, scent and sounds. Browse our huge range of arts, crafts and cultures from Australia and beyond, Indigenous and non-Indigenous.
Under one roof we share and showcase Indigenous and non-Indigenous paintings, limited edition prints, sculptures, natural fibre weavings, rugs, glassware, books, souvenirs and so much more.
Love textiles? it's our speciality and we offer the biggest range of genuine Aboriginal designed and hand printed fabrics in Darwin. Plus you will find a fabulous selection of quality fair trade bags, purses and homewares made by Flying Fox Fabrics and Better World Arts.
Our space is large, airy, colourful and air-conditioned and plenty of seating if you want to relax. Bring the kids - they'll love the children's space with toys and books and our adjacent AV room screens a range of music and educational videos.
For your comfort we have filtered cold water on tap. Just ask our staff if you need assistance with anything to make your visit more comfortable.
With highway frontage, ample parking and a major bus route going past the front door, we are easy to find. The site is fully accessible with disabled parking and entrance (with buzzer) via the back door.
