Songlines diverse and welcoming multi-faceted arts space is less than two kilometres from Darwin's CBD.

Browse their huge range of arts, crafts and cultures from Australia and beyond, Indigenous and non-Indigenous.

Under one roof they share and showcase Indigenous and non-Indigenous paintings, limited edition prints, sculptures, natural fibre weavings, rugs, glassware, books, souvenirs and so much more.

Love textiles? it's Songlines speciality and they offer the biggest range of genuine Aboriginal designed and hand-printed fabrics in Darwin. Plus you will find a fabulous selection of quality fair trade bags, purses and homewares made by Flying Fox Fabrics and Better World Arts.

Songlines offers a range of experiences including Pandanus (natural fibre) Weaving Workshops and painting and craft demonstrations. Check the website for events.

Songlines space is air-conditioned and has plenty of seating if you want to relax. Bring the kids, they'll love the children's space with toys and books and our adjacent AV room screens a range of music and educational videos.

For your comfort, Songlines have filtered cold water on tap.

With highway frontage, ample parking and a major bus route going past the front door, they are easy to find. The site is fully accessible with disabled parking and entrance (with buzzer) via the back door.

    Welcomes and assists people who have challenges with learning, communication, understanding and behaviour. (includes people with autism, intellectual disability, Down syndrome, acquired brain injury (ABI), dyslexia and dementia) Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids) Caters for people who use a wheelchair.
