Ooraminna Station Homestead

Ooraminna Station Homestead is set amongst the hills of 600 acres of the outback Australian desert.

The private property offers camping, full kitted swags or luxury cottage style accommodation with the convenience of being only 30km out of Alice Springs. A great place to base yourself to explore the surrounding regions or just to take it easy for a few days.

The Timber and Tin cottages can accommodate 2 people and feature Desert Oak four poster beds. Ensuites and private verandahs make it feel like you have the place to yourself. Self contained facilities if required so you can seclude yourself away for the weekend.

The Stone cottage (formerly known as the Police Station) and the gaol out the back can accommodate up to 6 people in total. King and 4 singles or 6 singles. BBQ facilities.

The Log Cabin is exactly that and features 3 single beds and a queen sized bed in the one room. BBQ facilities if desired.

A filmset is on location and the perfect place for an event or party. Birthdays, weddings, corporate or private, we can cater for up to 500 people

A dining room and bar are available at the homestead. Bookings essential.

    Log Cabin

    The log cabin is a rustic and unique accommodation venue. It is made of milled logs and has a traditional tin roof. At this point in time, the log cabin is not available for hire during the hotter months as it is not air conditioned.
    It is a beautiful cabin with an open fire place which is well suited for those cooler months. The bathroom is situated outside the back door of the main room.
    It has three single beds and a queen bed so can accommodate up to 5 people.

    Stone Cottage

    The Stone cottage was originally named the Police Station and has an adjoining accommodation being the Gaol. The Stone cottage can be four singles or one king sized bed and two singles. The Gaol has two singles.
    The main building has an open fireplace and is air conditioned. The Gaol is just outside the back door and has a fan and heater only.
    The ensuite bathroom is just outside the rear door.
    There is a small portico out the back by the toilet and a large verandah out the front in an L shape.

    Timber Cottage

    Quaint Timber cottage with a ensuite bathroom uniquely appointed with corner bath/ shower. Full length front verandah looking out to the picturesque surrounds.
    Feature of the room is the Four poster Queen bed made from Desert Oak.

    Tin Cottage
