Kings Creek Station

Situated at the foot of the beautiful George Gill Range, just 36 kilometres from Kings Canyon, Kings Creek Station is a truly unique 2,000 square kilometre slice of the real Australian desert.

Set amongst majestic desert oaks, Kings Creek Station is a cattle station with facilities for camping or luxury camping in the Dreamtime Escarpment accommodation, both options designed so you can experience the outback.

After a busy day at Kings Canyon, unwind with a bottle of wine and some delicious snacks at the café and watch the sunset against the majestic George Gill Ranges. Try one of the famous Kings Creek camel burgers or relax by the pool with an icy cold drink.

Stroll to the George Gill lookout for magnificent views of the range, enjoy this genuine cattle station. Enjoy a ride on a buggy ATV through magnificent desert oaks, cruise over rolling red sand dunes, weave through thick mulga scrub and golden fields of spinifex. Take a scenic helicopter flight over the vast maze of crags and canyons, rock formations and waterholes.

Kings Creek can be reached from Alice Springs on the Luritja Road via Lasseter Highway (sealed and 450kms). If travelling from Uluru or Erldunda on the Lasseter Highway the turn off is at the Luritja Road junction. Distance from Uluru is 300kms.
