Learn about the pioneers of the Timber Creek region at Bullita Homestead.
Explore the house and original timber stockyards, which are remnants of the region's pastoral history.
Bullita is located on the banks of the East Baines River, 56 kilometres from Timber Creek in Judbarra/Gregory National Park. The yards were built with and are still maintained using local Lancewood and Bloodwood. You'll find more information about outback farming life from the interpretive display in the homestead.
Set up camp at the nearby Bullita campground and take the time to access the park's four-wheel drive network and see interesting rock formations along Limestone Creek.
Access is via a 42-kilometre unsealed track that may be corrugated and is closed at times due to flooding from November through to April.
