Nathan Whippy Griggs

Griggs not only entertains with his whip cracking expertise, he also holds five Guinness World Records – four times for fastest records with one and two hands and one for the longest whip in the world, cracking a whip over 100m long. Music, lights and audience participation is what you can expect from this exceptional show, bringing an old Aussie tradition into the 21st century in a show the whole family can enjoy.

Nathan calls Mataranka NT home and performs for 1000s of tourists a year during the dry season, five nights a week at Mataranka Rodeo Grounds. There are no booking/tickets required and Griggs passes his hat at the end of the show to make a crust, so bring cash and donate generously the good old fashioned Aussie way! Nathan is also a talented whipmaker and sells his brilliant Outback Tough Whips alongside other merchandise, all available at the show.

Nathan "Whippy" Griggs is currently performing five nights a week (excluding Wednesdays and Sundays) at Mataranka Rodeo Grounds, 6.30pm.

During the off season Griggs packs up his show and hits the road, touring all over the country at various pubs, sports clubs and Showgrounds.
