The Hawk Dreaming Wilderness Lodge provide visitors the opportunity to experience a remote and restricted area of Kakadu in an environmentally and culturally sensitive way; by way of small group tours led by experienced guides and lodge hosts.
The lodge is situated in an special and justifiably renowned part of the Park, known as Cannon Hill, which has abundant wildlife, especially bird and marine life, and where a large diversity of the Park’s landscape elements come together. The sandstone outliers around Cannon Hill host significant rock art dating back many thousands of years The whole of the Cannon Hill area where the camp is situated is a registered scared site..

Located in an exclusive and restricted area of Kakadu National Park, where less that 1000 people a year access this permit-only area, the lodge features just 12 twin share ensuited tented safari cabins. A Sunset Rock art Safari explores unique aboriginal art and sandstone outcrops before enjoying appetisers and a spectacular champagne sunset on the escarpment and over the wetlands before dinner.
Spend day 2 on an Arnhemlander 4wd tour exploring exclusive aboriginal art and cultural sites and the Injalak Art and craft Centre in Oenpelli. Return to the Lodge before another sunset safari.
