Uluru, Kings Canyon and MacDonnell Ranges 6 Day Astronomy Tour from Alice Springs or Uluru

Travellers walk the Kings Canyon Rim Walk in Watarrka National Park, drive the remote Mereenie Loop and explore the West and East MacDonnell Ranges before finishing at Uluru and Kata Tjuta.

The nights are just as special. In Tjoritja West MacDonnell National Park, a Traditional Owner shares First Nations stories of the stars. At Star Camp in the East MacDonnell Ranges, a laser and telescope astronomy experience reveals the southern sky before a night in an Eco Star Tent. Days include Ormiston Gorge, a swim at Ellery Creek Big Hole, Trephina Gorge, Emily Gap, the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta and the Uluru Base Walk, with two Uluru sunsets and a sunrise.

A local expert guide leads groups of up to 16 travellers, with five nights of camping and most meals included. It suits active travellers aged eight and over and finishes in Alice Springs or at Ayers Rock Airport. Book directly with Adventure Tours Australia.
