Hi there, would you like to view this page on our USA site?

Yes, switch sites

The Escarpment Walk is a 3 km loop of moderate difficulty that climbs to panoramic views over the Victoria River Valley, framed by soaring red escarpments.

As you ascend, follow the Nungali-Ngaliwurru and Wardaman stories told through interpretive signs that share traditional knowledge of how this landscape was created. Each bend in the track reveals another sweeping outlook.

The track is steep in sections. If you prefer a shorter, easier option, walk as far as Garrarnawun Lookout and return the same way to avoid the more strenuous parts of the loop.

Purchase an NT Parks Visitor Pass before you arrive. NT residents are exempt.
