Moongaze
Moongaze is an acoustic singer-songwriter duo whose love-powered melodies are crafted in riverbeds for singing to friends under the wide desert skies.
Spinning stories with folky harmonies and poetic lyrics, they make love songs for the planet, for their fellow humans, and for each other.
The multi-instrumentalists of Moongaze use violin, piano, guitar, double bass, hand percussion, and vocal harmonies to craft thought-provoking and uplifting live performances. Their songs are inspired by queer and trans love, social justice, the beauty of the planet and the importance of fighting for its future.
Following an acclaimed festival debut at the Top Half Folk Festival in 2024, alongside performances at Territory Day, the Last Sunday Folk Up, Live on the Lawns, and many local NT venues, Moongaze is touring the continent in 2025, coming soon to a dry river bed near you.
