Desert Festival is Central Australia's premier multi-arts festival, bringing the heart of Central Australia to life through music, theatre, dance, storytelling and immersive experiences.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Alice Springs, this award-winning festival champions local artists while welcoming national and international acts to Alice Springs.

This year's theme, Home, celebrates local talent, cultural identity and connection. A new fringe-style format brings pop-up performances, intimate gigs and large-scale productions to venues across town. Expect everything from high-energy hip-hop and experimental cabaret to folk dances and contemporary theatre, with over 80 per cent of the program featuring Central Australian artists.

Past festivals have welcomed acclaimed acts alongside emerging performers, making it a must-attend event for arts lovers and cultural explorers alike. Whether discovering the next big thing or experiencing legendary talent, Desert Festival offers a dynamic and unforgettable arts adventure in the Red Centre.

For ticketing and programming information, check out the Desert Festival website and socials.

Desert Festival is proudly presented by Red Hot Arts Central Australia and supported by the NT Government and Alice Springs Town Council.
