Big Tide Country offers small-group, bespoke experiences in the Top End, Northern Territory, guided by locals who know the country well.
Big Tide Country is a majority Aboriginal-owned business. Groups are kept to four guests, and never more than six, so every trip feels personal rather than like a tour bus.
Guests can spend saltwater mornings chasing barramundi and other Top End species with lead guide Trevor Prior, then red dirt afternoons exploring the bush, billabongs and quiet back roads. Week-long Territory experience packages bring together fishing, bush camping and the best of the region's local operators, all arranged by one friendly team.
Evenings are about living like a local. Guests share a meal and a yarn at the Dundee pub, or join a relaxed country pub trail through Noonamah, Humpty Doo and Darwin River, an affordable alternative to a helicopter pub tour.
Big Tide Country cares deeply for country. Small groups, catch and release fishing and support for local conservation mean guests tread lightly and leave as friends of the Territory.
