Camel Farm

Uluru Camel Tours is Australia's largest camel farm. Visitors are welcome to wander through the saddlery, visit the animal petting farm, and hear the stories and history behind some of Australia's bravest explorers, Afghan cameleers, ANZAC cameleers and their Aboriginal guides.

Capturing the Cosmos

This astronomy documentary reveals current research and technologies in radio astronomy, dark energy, and Australia's role at the forefront of the field. Proudly partnered by Voyages Tourism Australia with ASTRO3D.

Sometimes there's no better way to take a break from a busy day of travel and exploring than with a great movie. Join us in the Arkani Theatre daily at 10am and 3:20pm, when we'll be showcasing a variety of family favourite movies on our 200-inch big screen. Paint Your Own Australian Animal

Kids of all ages love to paint – and this family-friendly activity is the perfect way to bring home a special souvenir from an unforgettable Red Centre holiday! Children will be able to paint their own Australian animals, choosing from a selection of wooden creatures and a variety of stencils and paint colours to make each work of art totally unique. Parental supervision is required during this activity. Paint Your Own Australian Animal workshops are held at Outback Hotel and Desert Gardens Hotel.

To support local Anangu communities, we ask visitors to observe these respectful guidelines:

Respect Opening Hours: Please purchase art only when the Lawn Gallery is open. Schedules are aligned with Anangu leaders to support school attendance and community commitments.

Honor Fixed Pricing: Anangu are highly skilled craftspeople. Please respect the set purchase price and refrain from bartering or bargaining.

Discover the Story: Every piece tells a story. Ask the artist to share its meaning and sign the back of your artwork.

Ask Before Photographing: Always request permission prior to taking photos of or with the artist, and respect their wishes.

Visitor Information
Availability: Open daily, though artists may occasionally be absent due to cultural duties.

Direct Sales: Artworks are sold directly from artist to buyer.

Certificates of Authenticity: For certified works, visit Maruku Arts or Walkatjara Arts at the Cultural Centre, or the Gallery of Central Australia (located between Desert Gardens Hotel and Emu Walk Apartments).
