1946 年，老錫礦工保羅·阿爾米奇 (Paul Allmich) 是第一個開車來到這個國家的人，但他的卡車只開到了 Motor Car Creek！那裡的橋是後來建造的。
靠近汽車瀑布步道起點的是 Witj（火雞叢）。在旱季，您可能會在公園的其他地方注意到這些開著粉紅色花朵、葉子呈鱗片狀的灌木。直莖的堅硬木材可以製成很好的矛。
Motor Car Creek 周圍環繞著茂密的季雨林，是一處陰涼的度假勝地。您可能會看到lawurrk（帶狀果鳩）在這片森林中進食。
