An Extended Military History Tour of Darwin, Batchelor, Adelaide River and Coomalie Airfield
This full day tour will take you from Darwin to Adelaide River and return seeing the special spaces that visually describe the amazing War and Military History of the Northern Territory.
The tour begins with a tour of the main city sites and a description of the WWII History and Darwin's close association in time with our armed forces. Includes a 1 hour visit to Defence of Darwin Museum, a stop at the Aviation Museum on to Batchelor and a personalised tour of the Coomalie Creek Airfield (on private land), hosted by the property owner with afternoon tea at Coomalie and a final visit to Adelaide River war Cemetery then return to Darwin.
This tour is flexible and can be changed to meet your personal needs.
