Kookaburra Air est une entreprise familiale d'Australie occidentale issue d'Alliance Air, créée en 1990 et principalement impliquée dans la location d'avions aux opérateurs d'affrètement et aux écoles de pilotage.
Kookaburra a été créée en 1996 pour servir WA en tant qu'entreprise d'affrètement aérien – en se concentrant principalement sur le développement de circuits aériens et de vols panoramiques pour l'industrie touristique de WA.
En 2013, la société a ouvert une base à Darwin pour desservir davantage le marché des vols charters et des circuits touristiques dans le Territoire du Nord pour des destinations telles que Kakadu et Katherine.

Kakadu and Yellow River cruise
Fly out along the northern coast and follow the Mary River to Kakadu National Park and upper Alligator River where vast wetlands nestle in amongst a rugged northern landscape, carved out over millions of years by the infamous outback wet season. During the wet season we also fly over the magnificent Jim-Jim and Twin Falls. This unique landscape as seen from the air is truly is an experience you will not want to miss.
Your tour includes the famous one hour Yellow Waters Boat Cruise throughout the Kakadu wetlands where you will experience wild life close up.
Darwin Scenic Flight

Litchfield Scenic Flight
Fly in your own private fixed wing aircraft over Darwin River Dam, the Famous Rum Jungle Uranium Mine, and onto the majestic Litchfield escarpments with year round waterfalls and wetlands of the Reynolds River. Experience a bird's eye view of the Magnetic Ant Hills, Cascades, Lost City, and the many waterfalls of the area. On the way back fly north out over the inaccessible beauty of the Western Regions, and Darwin Harbour.
Litchfield & Daly River Scenic Flight
The Scenic Flight will show you the hidden corners of Litchfield, on of the Northern Territory's little known treasures, which are inaccessible by land. Experience a bird's eye view of the Magnetic Ant Hills, Cascades, Lost City, and the many majestic waterfalls and wetlands of Litchfield.
From there, fly south over crocodile-breeding wetlands of the Daly River, to the wide Day River delta as it spills into the sea. Then we will fly you back to Darwin along the remote west coast via Channel Point, Crab claw island and Darwin Harbour.
Kakadu & Mary River Scenic Flight
Fly out along the Adelaide River and out over the Mary and Wildman River Wetlands to Kakadu National Park. After a scenic flight from Darwin over Katherine, a boat cruise through the winding gorges awaits you. This tour also includes a helicopter tour through the more inaccessible parts of the gorges.
