Injalak Arts – Ubirr Border Store

Injalak Arts at the Border Store is an ethical place to buy authentic Indigenous art in Kakadu National Park.

The outlet sells paintings on bark and paper, weavings and sculpture as well as hand-screen printed fabric lengths.

Indigenous artists will be on site giving demonstrations of how paintings and weavings are made.

Customers of Injalak Arts at Border Store are safe in the knowledge that their purchases are contributing to an Indigenous-Owned charitable non-profit organisation. Injalak Arts plays a central role in the artistic and cultural life of traditional Aboriginal artists living in remote communities in western Arnhem Land. Injalak Arts is an outstanding example of a community organisation that delivers positive social, economic and cultural outcomes for its members.

Injalak Arts is normally based in Gunbalanya, West Arnhem Land, 12km from the Border Store.
