Join for an inspiring conversation with Si Rapongan, a Tao cultural documentarian, as we dive into the rich oceanic heritage of Lanyu (Orchid Island) and the legendary literary world of his father, the award-winning contemporary Indigenous writer Syaman Rapongan (pre-recorded conversation).
Accompanied by a screening of I Dream of the Ocean, directed by Chou Wen-chin, the film is a deeply immersive portrait of Tao/Yami culture, ancestral knowledge and the enduring bond between people and the sea.
