Study human endurance with Heli Pub Crawl 101

Elevate the classic pub crawl and take your *responsible drinking skills to new heights with Heli Pub Crawl 101. This refreshing module involves being chauffeured by chopper to some of the Top End’s most iconic watering holes, pausing to enjoy ice-cold frothies and an outback pub lunch along the way. (It’s hard work, but someone’s gotta do it – and it might as well be you.) Channel your inner pilot, broaden your horizons and improve your geography as you admire the Northern Territory’s epic scenery from above, gaining a new perspective on life. Full marks for spotting buffalo, wild boar, birdlife and crocs from above.
You‘ll develop a detailed knowledge of the region’s best beers and a thorough understanding of the perfect parmy/parma (the Aussie take on chicken schnitzel, covered in tomato sauce – delish!). Perfect your people skills as you chat with friendly publicans and chatty locals, forming new friendships. After a few convos with the regulars, you’ll pick up some handy slang. Hint: a ‘schooner’ is two-thirds of a pint; a ‘pony’ is a quaint 140ml measure of beer; a ‘pot’ is about 285ml; and a ‘jug’ is… a jug. Additional drinking vocabulary for good measure: ‘scull’ means to neck your drink in one go; ‘bottle shop’ or ‘bottle-o’ is an off-licence; and ‘tinny’ means a can of beer – useful stuff, hey?
