A group of friends drinking coffee at Olive Pink Botanical Gardens in Alice Springs

A foodie’s guide to Alice Springs

If you’re a fan of great food, we’ve picked out some of the locals’ favourite feeds to help you plan your next meal.

Fan Arcade, Todd Mall

Tucked away in the Fan Arcade off the Todd Mall, Page 27 is Alice’s own slice of Melbourne’s laneway culture. Loved by locals for its all day brekky and pumpin’ tunes, this little cafe has become a bit of an institution for lovers of all things cool.

Epilogue Lounge

Reg Harris Lane, Todd Mall

Epilogue is Page 27’s sister eatery, located on the other side of the Todd Mall. Open until the wee hours of the morning, Epilogue is famous for its share plates (the nachos are insane!) and vibrant live music scene. Dine and dance in the rooftop section for the full hipster experience.

Tali Restaurant

93 Barrett Drive

If you’re feeling a bit fancy, check out this award winning restaurant at Lasseters. Featuring some Territory icons on the menu (check out that Barramundi!), Tali is the perfect starting point for a big night at the casino.

Hanuman

82 Barrett Drive

We hope you packed some stretchy pants! Hanuman is renowned for its delectable banquets and fine dining experience. Located in Doubletree by Hilton Alice Springs, this Indian and Thai inspired restaurant is a must‑do for foodies.

Deck Eatery and Bar

82 Barrett Drive

The perfect spot for pre and post touring meals, the Deck Eatery and Bar is conveniently located near the foyer of the Doubletree by Hilton Alice Springs. The burgers and NT inspired share plates are well worth a try!

Olive Pink Botanic Garden

Tuncks Road

If you’re planning a visit to Alice, you’ve probably already got the Olive Pink Botanic Gardens on your itinerary. If so, you’ll be pleased to know the team there also know how to serve up a good feed! Why not grab some lunch and get amongst the local flora?

Casa Nostra Pizza and Spaghetti House

Undoolya Road

For an authentic Italian taste, you can’t go past this family owned and operated business, Casa Nostra. For tasty calzones and world class pizza and pasta, make sure you book ahead to secure your (vanilla) slice of heaven!
