The Northern Territory is a world-class fishing destination with a vast network of waterways offering a variety fishing options for the beginner to experienced fisherman.

The Territory’s best-known fish is the barramundi: an aggressive predatory fish noted for its strong runs and spectacular jumps. The Top End is also home to an array of other great sport and reef fish, including giant trevally, queenfish, spanish mackerel, cobia, black jewfish, golden snapper, red emperor and coral trout.

There are many different hot spot destinations throughout the Territory’s Top End that offer great fishing, all set in picturesque natural landscapes.
