Alice Springs Public Library is an essential part of the Central Australian community.
A vibrant hub for people to hang out, work, study and attend a vast array of events, the library welcomes everyone to enjoy its relaxed atmosphere and extensive collection.
The Library is home to the Alice Springs Collection, a special collection of materials which relate to the historical, scientific and cultural heritage of Central Australia. The Alice Springs Collection is a reference collection, meaning items are not available for loan but can be viewed in the Library during regular opening hours.
The library offers a number of regular events including Preschool Story Time, Baby Rhyme time, Music and Movement, Vr-fternoons, Lego and Chess clubs.
