WWII No1 RAAF Medical Receiving Station

This site is comprised of the remnants of the No1 RAAF Medical Receiving Station.

It remains relatively intact and combines to present a significant precinct representing the activities of an essential service unit. The site is located approximately 1 kilometre south-west of the intersection of the Stuart Highway and Batchelor Road. The remnants are largely concrete floor slabs of various sizes.
