Marrakai Military Museum
Darwin's World War 2 Museum featuring Australian, American, English, German, Japanese, Chinese and Russian uniforms and artefacts.
The military collection contains thousands of objects related to the Second World War. These include very rare items, a one-off in the world used by the Australian Z special unit and commandos in World War 2, the only known Mark 8 Cockleshell Motorised Canoe, items from Gallipoli, Midway, Tobruk, Band of Brothers, Z Force, Flying Tigers with various uniforms, helmets, gas masks, binoculars, weapons and tools.
The museum has easy access, air conditioning, and free parking. Set in beautiful bushland it is located one kilometre from Corroboree Tavern, be sure to follow signage.
