After over 46 years of bringing the community together at Freds Pass Reserve, one of the Territory's most cherished events is ready for its next chapter, relocating to the Livingstone Recreation Reserve, just 15 minutes down the Stuart Highway.

The Litchfield Rural Show (formerly the Freds Pass Rural Show) is the premium community event in the Darwin rural area. It is a great little agricultural show, with all the features of a traditional show plus exciting extras showcasing local food.

It is still the same community-driven rural show – just in a great new location, with a new name that reflects the whole of the local rural community. It's still about community, connection, agriculture, family fun, and celebrating everything that makes rural life so special in the Top End.

There will be plenty to see and enjoy in our plethora of show activities - agricultural competitions (equestrian, cattle, goats, poultry, art, craft, photography and horticulture), Paddock to Plate food demonstrations, grand parade, wood chopping exhibition, classic car and bike show, talent quest, live stage events, animal nursery, children's' entertainment, side show alley and market, food and commercial stalls.

Saturday night features a special kid's stage act and a fireworks spectacular which is followed by live music on the Main Stage.

Come along and enjoy a slice of rural life and fun for all the family!
