Freds Pass Rural Show

The Freds Pass Rural Show is the premium community event in the Darwin rural area.

It is a great agricultural show, with all the features of a traditional show plus exciting extras showcasing local food.

The 50 Km Feast, a gourmet dinner with an exciting menu made entirely from local produce, kicks off the show on the Friday night with feasting under the stars. Throughout Saturday and Sunday the Paddock to Plate marquee features celebrity chefs and local foodies entertaining show goers with local food preparation and tastings.

And there is still plenty of time to enjoy the plethora of other show activities - competitions (equestrian, cattle, goats, poultry, art, craft, photography and horticulture), woodchopping and chainsaw carving displays, classic car and bike show, talent quest, live stage event, children's' entertainment and food, market and commercial stalls. Saturday night features a fireworks spectacular after which live music rocks the crowds till midnight.
