Southern Rockhole is a seasonal waterfall located on the Windolf walking track.
The walk to the Rockhole is about 4 km one way from Nitmiluk Centre, or you can take the ferry from the visitor centre and walk the short but rocky access track. There are fantastic views of the waterfall and the surrounding sandstone escarpment.
The waterfall dries up early in the dry season and swimming is only open seasonally.
The walk is grade 3 - moderate. The track can be rough and steep in sections and some bushwalking experience is recommended.
