Proudly Indigenous owned and operated, all our guides are Indigenous men and women from across the West MacDonnell ranges and offer you unique insights into local culture, food and how we connect to Country, that is not available elsewhere.

We are driven by providing cultural tours, adventures, and team building camps to our guests, along with employment to local Indigenous men & women, we are currently the largest trainer and employer of Indigenous guides in tourism in this area and we want to continue to grow for a better future.

Hermannsburg (Ntaria) Historical Tour

Hermannsburg Ntaria (N-THE-REE-AH) Historical Tour

While visiting Northern Territory, drive 135Kms west of Mparntwe (Alice Springs) to Hermannsburg community also known as Ntaria in the Western Aranda language. Be guided by a local Traditional Aboriginal person who will take you through into the oldest mission in the Northern Territory.

Immerse yourself in the rich history that sits on the banks of the Finke River, which is the world's oldest river, learn what it was like to live in 1800s and how the missionaries helped the Western Arrernte people to build the community it is today. Learn how the missionaries and the Indigenous people of Ntaria lived in harmony, learn about their struggles, heartbreaks, and enduring friendships that have lasted a lifetime. Once your tour is complete, head on into the tea rooms and enjoy a slice of the Precinct’s world-famous strudel whilst taking the in the awe-inspiring view of the ghost gums that lay along with mighty Finke River.

Larapinta trek

You can choose from various levels of trekking to suit your style of fitness.

The 6 day trek you will walk some of the flatter sections of the trail with, they will show you local flora and fauna along with some history of your surrounds, on this trek you will walk no more than 10 Kms a day and be immersed in the natural surrounds of Tjoritja (the West MacDonnell ranges).

The 9-day trek, you will have the option to walk the Eastern or Western part of the trail. The Western part of the trail you will walk east towards Mparntwe (Alice Springs) this walk is 100 Kms and you will walk up the fourth highest mountain in the Northern Territory Rwetyepme (Mt Sonder) to experience the breath-taking sunrise, Rwetyepme is the highest point on the trail. The eastern part of the trail is 130 Kms, you will challenge yourself to climb Brinkley’s Bluff, our expert guides who have all the local knowledge will lead you on a Culture awakening that will take you through some of the roughest terrains this has country has to offer.
