For 27 years, Australian Sportfishing Charters has offered multi-day sportfishing in remote East Arnhem Land, Northern Territory.
From the Roper River in the Gulf to the offshore Bromby Islands, English Company Islands, and the Wessel Islands, the mangrove-lined rivers of Arnhem Bay and Buckingham Bay. Whether it's the iconic Barramundi or the fast, exciting strike of a Spanish Mackerel, Trevally, Queenfish, or Marlin, the NT has it all. While most groups’ prime target is the Barramundi, which is exceptionally good in estuaries, headlands, and creeks, there is also the opportunity to catch Fingermark, GTs, Mangrove Jacks, Estuary Cod, Salmon, and Barracuda.
Fish from sun up to sun down, and you'll be rewarded with a hot shower, delightful food, and a crispy cold beverage at the end of the day on the mothership, the Iron Lady. She is a 65-foot luxury live-aboard motor yacht – equipped with full air-conditioning sleeping arrangements for 8 guests (3 bedrooms, each with ensuite), a large saloon, an open-air deck upstairs and four tenders to cater smaller, more personalised fishing adventures. The lady is used as ‘home base’ throughout the duration of your fishing charter with an on-board gourmet chef, a hostess and multiple fishing guides, plus Captain Dan – you couldn’t be better looked after during your charter. Book a 4, 5, or 7-day shared charter or customise your adventure.
