Open all year round, the Lodge has been carefully designed to provide an exclusive base from which guests can connect with the cultural and natural landscapes of both Nitmiluk National Park and Kakadu National Park, the traditional lands of the Jawoyn people. With experienced local guides, guests can immerse themselves in ancient and authentic terrains and cultures through unforgettable experiences that may include ancient rock art sites, storytelling, traditional Indigenous crafts and skills, wildlife encounters, scenic cruises through Nitmiluk Gorge, or swimming in pristine waterholes accessible only by helicopter.

Blending contemporary luxury with authentic cultural connection, Cicada Lodge features elegant accommodation, locally inspired dining experiences, and warm Jawoyn hospitality. Guests can relax by the stunning infinity pool, enjoy fine dining showcasing native flavours and local ingredients, or simply unwind while surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the Katherine River and escarpments.
