Injalak Arts and Crafts

Injalak Arts Centre is a community hub deeply rooted in the rich traditions of the Kunwinjku people.

Since 1989, this non-profit association has been owned by the local Aboriginal community. The centre is located in Gunbalanya, a small Aboriginal community situated in West Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory of Australia.

The community consists of over 200 Kunwinjku members, including both men and women, young and old. Here, art isn't just a product – it's a story, a connection to their past and a bridge to their future. Many of the artists create their works on-site, while others work from their outstations (homelands).
