The Henley on Todd Regatta is a fun, quirky and eclectic 'boat' race held each year on the dry, sandy bed of the Todd River in Alice Springs, Australia – it's the only dry river boating Regatta in the world!
Participants compete in 'boat' races in the style of the Flintstones: holding a lightweight boat frame and running around the barrel and back to the finish line. Use one of our boat frames or build your own!
There are also giant hamster wheel races, a budgy smuggler race, sand ski events, sandcastle building, a lolly scramble for the kids and so much more. There's something for everyone.
The day starts at 10:30am with a parade of boats from the Civic Lawns, down the Todd Mall to the Todd River to Snow Kenna Park. Gates open at 11am.
