Experience a breathtaking outback sunrise across our ancient salt lake, followed by a behind-the-scenes tour of Curtin Springs Paper.

Travel into the heart of Curtin Springs Station before dawn, with a light pre-walk snack. Enjoy exclusive access to Lake Swanson, their largest salt lake, a site of conservation significance, as the sun lights up this ancient and vast landscape. Return to the homestead for a cooked breakfast and an immersive guided tour through our handmade paper facility — where native grasses are transformed into extraordinary handmade paper, jewellery and artworks.

The Sunrise Salt Lake and Curtin Springs Paper Tour offers a serene outback sunrise over a crystalline salt lake, privileged access to private land, authentic station hospitality and an insight into sustainable desert living and artistry.
